Doug Mclean, BA, BST, MACP, Registered Psychotherapist.
Doug grew up in Kingston Ontario where he earned undergraduate degrees in Life Sciences and Psychology at Queen’s University as well as a diploma in Behavioural Science Technology at St. Lawrence College. His graduate study program was with Yorkville University where he obtained a Masters of Arts degree in Counselling Psychology. Doug’s vocational experience includes several years in community mental health as an Intensive Mental Health Case Manager in addition to maintaining his own private psychotherapy practice.
Doug’s clinical orientation to therapy is a comprehensive client-centered approach that all aspects of human growth and recovery from the psychological to the physical to the interpersonal. It incorporates therapeutic practices from a variety of approaches as would be fitting to an individual’s unique need.
Doug’s work at OMARR Includes individual client therapy, group therapy and program development in collaboration with our Program Director Sarah Sweeney.
